Tender boneless pork chops smothered in a savory gravy with colorful bell peppers and onions. A comforting, beginner-friendly dish that serves 5.
Instructions
- 1
Slice the bell peppers and onion and set them aside.
- 2
In a large skillet, add oil and heat over medium-high heat. Take the pork chops, sprinkle salt over them before coating them in the flour.
- 3
Place them in the skillet and cook them till they are golden on both sides, then take them out and let them rest on a baking sheet or a big enough plate.
- 4
In the same skillet, add your bell peppers and onion. Sauté them until tender. Add the garlic powder and the chicken broth.
- 5
Place the pork chops back into the skillet with the peppers and onion. Cover them the best you can and lower the temperature. Place a lid onto the skillet and let it simmer for 40 minutes.
- 6
You might need to occasionally move the pork chops around so they all cook evenly under the broth and peppers, and onion.
