Crockpot Chicken

A complete, hearty meal in one pot! Tender chicken, potatoes, and carrots slow-cooked in a creamy, savory sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights when you want a nutritious, comforting dinner ready when you get home.

Instructions

  1. 1

In your crockpot, combine both cans of soup (cream of mushroom and cream of chicken), chicken broth, and onion soup mix. Stir well until completely combined.

  2. 2

Add the cubed chicken, quartered potatoes, and cut carrots to the crockpot.

  3. 3

Stir everything together to coat the chicken and vegetables with the soup mixture.

  4. 4

If all vegetables aren't covered by the liquid, add up to 1 cup of water to ensure proper cooking.

  5. 5

Cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours, depending on the size of your potatoes, carrots, and chicken pieces.

  6. 6

After the initial cooking time, turn the heat up to high, stir the contents, and cook for an additional 1 hour, or until potatoes are fork-tender.

  7. 7

Check seasoning and adjust if needed before serving.

  8. 8

Serve hot as a complete meal - the creamy sauce makes it perfect over rice or with crusty bread!
