Chocolate Chip Cookies
Classic chocolate chip cookies with the perfect balance of crispy edges and chewy centers. These timeless treats are loaded with chocolate chips and baked to golden perfection. A family favorite that never goes out of style!
Instructions

Heat oven to 375°F.

Combine shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer until creamy.

Beat egg into creamed mixture.

Combine flour, salt, and baking soda and mix into creamed mixture until just blended.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies. Do not overbake or the cookies will become hard.

Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes and place on wire racks to cool completely.
