Protein Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Delicious peanut butter cookies with a protein boost! These classic cookies are rolled in sugar, baked to perfection, and topped with a Hershey's Kiss. The vanilla protein powder adds extra nutrition without compromising the traditional taste we all love.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and softened butter. Beat with electric mixer until creamy and well blended.

  3. 3

Beat in the egg until fully incorporated.

  4. 4

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, vanilla protein powder, baking soda, and baking powder.

  5. 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mixing until just combined. Don't overmix.

  6. 6

Shape the dough into 1-inch balls.

  7. 7

Roll each ball in additional granulated sugar to coat.

  8. 8

Place the sugar-coated balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

  9. 9

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the cookies are lightly golden.

  10. 10

Immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie while they're still warm.

  11. 11

Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

  12. 12

**Pro Tips:** Make sure to unwrap all the Hershey's Kisses before you start baking so they're ready when the cookies come out of the oven. Press the Kiss firmly into the center while the cookies are still warm so it sticks properly!
