Candied Walnuts
Sweet, crunchy, and irresistibly delicious candied walnuts that are perfect for snacking, adding to salads, or using as a dessert topping. These glazed walnuts have a beautiful caramelized coating with a hint of cinnamon that makes them absolutely addictive!
Instructions
- 1
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- 2
Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and a sprinkle of salt. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes smooth and bubbly.
- 3
Add the walnuts to the saucepan and stir continuously to coat all the walnuts evenly with the sugar mixture.
- 4
Continue cooking and stirring for 3-5 minutes, until the walnuts are well-coated and the sugar mixture has caramelized. Be careful not to burn - reduce heat if needed.
- 5
Once the walnuts are glossy and the coating is sticky, remove from heat.
- 6
Spread the candied walnuts in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet to cool.
- 7
Allow the walnuts to cool completely before serving or storing. They will become crispy as they cool.
- 8
**Storage:** Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

**Tips:** Make sure to stir constantly to prevent burning and to ensure even coating. For best results, use raw, unsalted walnuts. These are perfect on salads, ice cream, or as a snack!
